Backstage at Strictly Come Dancing

The moment the winner was announced

Actress Kara Tointon has won this year's Strictly Come Dancing, beating Countryfile host Matt Baker.

The former EastEnder took the glitterball trophy after scoring the most points with the judges and votes from the public.

After winning, a tearful Tointon said competing in the show was "the most special thing I've ever achieved".

Pre-final favourite Baker said the actress and her dance partner Artem Chigvintsev were "worthy winners".

"If I was at home I'd be voting for you too," he said.

Tointon thanked the public for voting for her, before turning to Chigvintsev, adding: "And thank you to this man - he's been wonderful."

The actress drew standing ovations for her performances throughout the final.

Also she received a nice big slobbery kiss from her sexy Russian dance partner xx

Thank you very much for getting me another 2 days of school bringing my holiday to 2 and a half weeks off x
Also thank you that because of the weather we don't have to have any pruney old relatives come down for Christmas, just us!

Also I'm very grateful that I can sit on my but all day doing nothing without my rather annoying mother shouting at me I'm lazy because if she does I can say its the SNOW I cant get outside.

And that my schools rather hash decision of no school (mentioned above) fits perfectly around all the best Christmas TV. So Snow all in all I'm very Happy

Obviously this is not me as that nose is so very UN-human like xx
